Stock or Factory Engine Compartment Pics Please
Just trying to gather some pics either factory pics or owner pics of an original 71-72 350cid engine compartment. Need to know what it is supposed to look like so I can have mine as close to original as possible. Thanks! Ron

Old school, that's just wrong... I've never seen perfect, but that must be it.

JOHN, THAT PIC LOOKS SO GOOD. ITS THE SAME COLOR OF MY TRUCK EXACTLY EXCEPT MY ENGINE IS BLACK. but not for long though. thanks fo posting that picture. now to pull my engine.

Not exactly pretty, but I thought this was the most original / unmolested engine compartment I ever ran across so I documented it with a few pictures so I knew where brackets and what not go when I put mine back together. I found this in a scrap yard, but I was just there again recently and it is now gone. I did recover a number of parts before it went to the crusher. I pretty sure this was a 307 2 bbl....maybe a 70 or so.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
