I hope it didn't sound like I was saying something was wrong with the lights. If it did was not meant to sound like that. If I thought there was something wrong with them I would have called you. Just was trying to see if anyone had this happen to them also. Your service was great.

MIke I finally got mine in and running too they look great. Also got the wiring harness in. Thanks for all the help.

Looking forward to getting my set. Asked for a set for Christmas/Birthday (Oct). Especially since Bob(centsless) stole my set at the Board Meet.

Here is what I think the issue is....
While removing the old bulbs and installing the new concectors, the part that actually contacts the end of the bulb was pushed back adn did not spring back out (possibly even creating a short)

I have a set of the LED tails for stepsides from Mike and I love them. Had to mod the bucket just a little with a hammer, but they fit well and are waaaaay bright.

I just ordered a set too. Looks like a great product. Couldn't get better advertising than on a site like this with customers discussing the products. Always good to buy from the board vendors.

Moderators - makes me wonder, should you offer advertising space as an option to vendors selling items specific to our trucks? Seems like it could generate extra revenue and let the truck public find some of the less well know site supporting vendors.

i really cant understand why when a dozen people tell you bad ground it goes right over the top? there should be a ground wire from the bed to the frame and then from the light socket to the bed
grounds need to be bare shiney metal on bare shiney metal not painted to painted metal

quite unbelieveable the many hours wasted and many thousands of dollars of good parts thrown away on a regular basis by people noy understanding this concept
