Best wife in the world nominee

I was surprised this morning to find a set of keys in a box looked out side and to my surprise a 1972 gmc "cherry" I have been trying to buy from a widow for about 8mo.Wife talked her into selling it and also got it cheaper than I was offering. It is a swb 402BB solid white 82,000 original miles hydromatic interior all original wood grain glove box houndstooth seats, a/c cold. And all I got her was a watch.

well now you got to pull out the romantic dinner(1), soft music(2), and a place to sit and look at the stars if any(3).

(1) drive thru in the new truck

(2) hope the radio works

(3) truck seats arn't to bad to sit on and make sure to give the windows some cleaning

sounds to me like you got a great wife

forget the diamonds..forget the gold...and forget the romantic dinners.....you owe her the world.(.damn man she bought you a 72 gmc)..but she will be repaid every time she askes you to take out the garbage, vaccum the floor, hold her purse in public..etc. because she knows when she askes you'll be thinking.."damn man she bought me a 72 gmc.." and you'll do it and not say a word.......... LOL
but seriously you have a great wife...thank her again

AND NOW, THE REST OF THE STORY-----Did she put the truck in your name or HERs? Who is going to be the primary driver?

Rather then Dimonds etc. how about buying her a new:
screen door, vacuum, clothes line, case of bathroom cleaner, rake for the garden, ironing board, exercise machine, case of baby diapers, baby powder, jogging shoes, or even better yet~~~~
Wheels for HER truck, interior kit, new chrome bumpers, etc.

Yea, OK maybe my recommendations for presents are off just a tad.
Just give her MY e-mail ID just in case she ever gets tired of YOU~~~~sounds like a GREAT Lady and a nice truck. Keep those priorities straight as I know where there are lots of BB SWB trucks but ~~~~~~a love muffin like yours is one in a million!! She's a keeper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huck

LOL and good point Huck!
My wife used to get me parts and accesorys as gifts...but never a whole truck, let alone a desirable truck.
For our anniversary one year she got me the stainless rain guards for the doors, along with floor mats and speakers...and on valentines day, I got a new battery box and chrome headlamp 1/2 shields....
those were the days.
