Question "67" windshield wipers?

Are these original "67" type with the wing on them?
Thanks, Willis

Don't think so. Don't think the "wing" came on any stock wiper arm on our trucks. Later model....maybe so. But not ours. My '96 doesn't have them, either.

i think that was an add on from the parts store. They work like the cheesey plastic clip on fis in the 80's and 90's.

Those may be Anco replacement wipers. I had a set on my 67 panel truck, the "wings" were riveted to the wiper, kinda neat if nothing else. I wish I still had them

Re: "67" windshield wipers?

"Supposed to" clean better at highway speeds due to the air pressure increased by the "wing".

Believe it or ??? - Bob

That all depends on the aerodynamics of the vehicle. I've seen them help a little, help a lot, and, then sometimes, they just look funny and don't do thing.

Just like the "winter" wiper blades, just a gimmick. I had a set of winter blades on my old Buick when I got it, at highway speeds they would actually lift off of the windshield and not wipe anything away.

I ended up cutting the rubber stuff off.

Again, depends on the aerodynamics of the vehicle and the amount of slush and crap that builts up. We have 2 ford shop trucks, an F-150 and an F-250 power stroke 4X4, and the winter blades are awsome on those two trucks.
