Re: How many bulbs

I would only add the LEDs on the 4 that light up the guage faces.
In addition to them, there's the 2 directional indicators, 1 high beam light, and one for the brake warning lamp.
So 8 total.
Did I sell you the LEDs at the meet?

Whoud single blue leds work on the turnsignals and high beams and maybe a red on on the brake.Or should i just use regular bulbs on them.No i didnt buy any from you.But i am buying a white gauge dash here soon and wanted some blue lights.

Re: How many bulbs

I installed green LEDs on the turn signals on mine, and there was pretty much, no improvement. I wouldn't bother with the one for the high beam indicator either.
Since an LED is a directional lamp, and it puts a high amount of light in a small focused area, it almost puts a spot on the lens.
When you put them in for the normal guage lighting, it reflects the light off the back of the guage, then off the back tin of the panel, and then the glow covers the guage it's self.
The only real improvement is better color, and brighter.

just run 194s, or even 168s (little brighter) in the turn signals and high beam, and you'll be set without spending more money than you have to.
