Question 67-8 tow hooks mounting ?

Does anyone have any details on mounting 67-8 tow hooks? It looks like the mounting holes are not on the same mounting plane, is there a spacer somewhere or does it sit on top of another bracket, or ?

Anyone have a picture, or a blow-up drawing?

Thanks,
Chris

I was wanting a pic of a set of 67-70 hooks mounted on a truck as well. The set I've got had a couple of washers(as spacers) on the top hole to aide in alignment, I don't know if that is correct or not. I've figured out that 67-70 hooks don't fit on 71-72 models in the original holes. That's what I found out so far.

Question

Where is Jerry Moss when you need him?
I figured since he owns every tow hook in the free world, he would surely know how these work?

So, do the hooks require a washer/spacer or is the frame bumped out to compensate?

Looks to me like pic #1 has three washers. One each outside and one inside rear hole. Anyone else see that?
