2wd to 4x4 will it work?

Will 79 spring hangers, rear axle, front axle, motor and t-case crossmembers work on my 65 chassis? Thanks in advance for any information.

Anything can be made to work,if you have the skill, time and money. What you are looking at there will take a good bit of each unless you would settle for a half a?s job. Hope that helps.
Later, Willis

Re: 2wd to 4x4 will it work?

i agree with williso, but imo its just too much work to make a 2wd into a 4wd, i have heard the 60-66 frames have the same body mounts measurements, so you body would bolt to a 4wd frame. thats the only way i would do it.
good luck

Well,If you dont feel like adding that to your current frame you might could talk me into letting the '69 K20 go so I can hurry up and get the 72 short 4wd GMC home..You might decide the looks of the 67-72s look better and keep it as that instead of a 65 body on it..

I'd love to have a 67-72. Who knows? Maybe one day.
