I like the look! Are those real white aftermarket gauges below?

I want an aftermarket Tach that is white that will fit in my bezel, I know there has been alot of talk here on the board about it..

I have the decals off of ebay that look good to me, but do still kinda look like stickers..

Real bright at night though..

Those will look sweet in your truck...

Those look like Sunpro guages. They came out with a white faced set. They also have a Tach to match it. Take a look around at this link.

landon4421 Did the install of the lower gauges effect the gas gauge? What did you do with the circut sheet? Did you tap into the factory harness or run all new wire?

I really want to do this soon. But bags and 20s are first! LOL Tax returns! I hope! LOL

I carefully folded it over and left-m bee. I used tape to hold it up out of the way. (circut sheet) Ran my own wires, it was easyer to do it that way at the time. And to be totally honest it was a half a$$ job but you can not see the back. And I have had no electrical problums at all. Everything works great and looks cool.

Thanks for the replys!
Y'all figured it out from the begining...they are cheap sun pros! (did you know they are made by Snap On?)
I got them at advance auto I think...36 bucks...and it has a volt guage instead of the stupid almost worthless ahmeter.
I have been taking pics of the whole process...and I plan on putting up a page showing step by step too.
I have to agree with landon...my job is kinda butch too...but you can't see it onless you pull the panel out...so who gives a turcky!
I'll have finished pics tonight.

longhorn,

cheap ? $36 bucks, nothings cheap, or everything would be free!! All that matters is that you like them and they work. I think your gauges look COOL. What did you do with the circut sheet ? Anyway I just wanted to show mine, I did the same minus the trans temp gauge, in my wife's '71 didn't want to cut up the face plate for the trans temp gauge.. Keep up the good work.

From the sounds of it, i am doing the same as you did. I'll be taping off the contact for the stock guages and then just leaving it alone.
I may as well cut the lower 1/2 of it off...not like I'm going back to stock guages...not with this panel anyways.

I also thought of using sunpro white gauges but I want all the gauges the same and don't think Sunpro makes speedos, and fuel gauges?

I wouldn't be suprised if they do.
Here is the finished product. All I need now is a white tach. Almost didn't install the tach, but I figured I went this far, i may as well go all the way. Plus I hate the reflection on the inside of the windshield when the tach is strapped to the column.
