I put lights from a 1951 VW Beetle in my rear fenders. I used the original buckets inverted to recess them so they sit about 1/4" below the surface:

Mines not finished, but here's my best rear shot:

Mine will have a rear chrome bumper along with the roll pan that cover the gas tank.

yes sir they are indeed 59 caddy lights, i got my painter to paint them they are blacked out but once the light hits it they go bright red. I think he mixed some sort of candy

I accidently got the sedan tail lights. Tried to make 'em work. Got the custom bumper with the truck. Can't wait to get pulled over 'cause they can't see the old plate! Shadowed the tailgate myself. Cooler is in worse shape than the truck.

Hey 58 GMC is there a kit they make to the bed top meet the tailgate the way you have it? I have seen it on a few trucks and love the look. Do you have any pics during the process or that shows any other angles? Thnaks, Ronnie
