2007 Chevy Truck Buckets in 67-72

Has anyone used 2007 chevy bucket seats in their 67-72 Chevy-GMC truck?

Jeff do you have a picture on how you mounted them? Being 6'3 I'm not for sure these seats will give me enough leg room.

Thanks

Re: 2007 Chevy Truck Buckets in 67-72

Right now, they aren't bolted in. I'm 6ft, so I have an idea what leg room means. I've been "testing" the stock bench, '88 bench, '88 shorty buckets & these out of a '99 Silv. All of them SUCK for leg room. Must have been a short guy at GM that designed these cabs! I think either of the '88 seats offer just a tad more legroom than the others, but sit too high. I think if I was to chop the pedastals, the legroom would diminish too. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think there is much legroom lost with the '99 seats. Both of mine are 6- way power, so at least I can get the height/ angle right with them. The slight (if any) loss of legroom is made up in comfort & adjustability IMO. One note though, the center console won't flip up with the gas tank in the cab, at least not where I'm bolting them down.

If I can find some ambition, I plan on working over the interior & getting these bolted in this weekend. If I pull it off, I'll post pics & measurements

Here's what I got done. The center armrest stands up pretty straight. It lacks about 1-1/2" at the top edge from going back against the "stops". Some guys have made perches for the front mounting bolts so you can move the mounting holes forward to get it to lay back. I chose not to do this, as the seat track becomes a heel grabber getting in & out. The middle seat won't get used much in my truck, and it wouldn't be me anyway.

Yes, they would go in with the tank right where I positioned them. But the center console wouldn't be able to flip up.
