Question fuel filler location

Hello Everyone

I'm new to the site and look foward to having a few new ideas from all of you. I'm presently waiting for my 72 Chevy Pickup frame, it's getting sandblasted. When I get it I'm looking to do a couple of things, of course i want to put the fuel tank in between the frame in the rear, I also remember reading about a fuel access that was put in on the left side rear taillight, I thought that I read it in classic truck magazine, however, I have not been able to find that article. I would apprecitate any help from all of you in locating this individual or the article. It would avoid putting a hole in the wood bed that I'm going to install.

My other ongoing project is a 67 Chevelle Super Sport, slowly getting going on that to.

Again, thanks for any help you can give me.

I just noticed you are in Yankton, welcome to the board! There are quite a few South Dakota members. If you ever need any help let us know. I did the side marker fill on my 71.

Re: fuel filler location

welcome from Sioux Falls.

I think the guy you are looking for is John Fabris. he did a super sweet tail light fill.
Shawn, can you do a link to his thread for the new guy?

BTW, things are starting to look like I need to sell my house to the hospital and get an acreage, just so I can have all the locals over for a BBQ.

Re: fuel filler location

I apologize, I got Hugger CST and John Fabris mixed up. they both have wicked cool ideas. Hugger's is the one I was thinking of. my step side will take something different all together.
