Q's about '67 stepside
I just got on here and I gotta say It's good to be here. I'm starting a '67 LWB stepside project and I got a couple of questions. Do the front springs need to be changed when going from a 250 6 cyl to a stock 283? Next- I don't know if my truck came with a front sway bar or not. Would one help with regular, stock tires on the front as far as the driving goes? Thanks for any help.

Re: Q's about '67 stepside
No spring change needed & if it had a sway bar it would be listed on the glove box option sheet. If the sheet is gone look for mounting brackets on the underside of the front frame rails. They did have sway bars in 67 but normaly came on high optioned trucks like the camper special rigs. Post up some pics & get er' done!
