Cool Hey 72 Custom Camper!!!

I saw in another post that you had a '72 with a 6.2L diesel in it. Did you do that yourself? I've converted two trucks to 6.2L's, a '77 Blazer and my '81, so I'm always interested in hearing about diesel conversions.

No Casey my uncle did the conversion a few years before he gave me the truck. He did say it was very easy to do though. The only big modification was the motor mounts. He said he cut the tops off and some how rewelded it.

That's cool!

What gears do you have in that truck? My '81 with 6.2L, 700 tranny, 4.10 gears and 27" tires averages 18.5 mpg. How about you? Got any more pics of that truck?

It has the stock 4:10's with LT235-85r16's. I'll have to dig up a few more pics. I have a few I made when I started replacing the rockers.
