raising bed floor

just thinking about raising my bed floor to get maximim drop with bags and not cut my floor. i have an idea of how to do it but wanted you guys expertise on some methods of achieving a 2 inch raise of my bed, pictures would be great!! thanks!!

mark a straight line on the inner wall on the sides measure 2 inches and cut that section out and re weld it, another way since the sides come off the truck and arent welded to the floor is pull the sides and move the mounting serface up 2 in and the back wall also, on 88-98 cause thats the only one ive done you have to use my first suggestion cause the floor and sides are welded on, once youve done this add a 2 in spacer to the bed mounts and your done
