Not to jack your thread but a lot of guys on this board told me that all 396 and 402 had a 400 badge which I thought was bs so its nice to see an actual 396 badge, my buddy had a 72 with a 400 small block and it said 400 but guys on here say it never came with a small block 400 and chevy never changed from the 396 badge on any other vehicle that had a 402 because its the same engine with a little extra bore and the 396 was a popular name who knows great price on the badges though, what year truck are those from

69 truck and no they did not install a 400 small block until 73, unless it was one of those (Knowing someone at Chevy things).
