Worth doing?

I have this 67 C10 longbox that Im going to never use. Im thinking about keeping the 283 and 3sp with od tranny for some future project (maybe). I have an extra 350/350 combo, all the correct stuff to lower it down 4/6 and a set of plain chrome wheels to replace the hubcaps and steel wheels. This thing is far from perfect. Has some rust and the grill is tweaked along with the bumper.

I'm wondering if you guys think I could get at least 2500 bucks for it if I put all that stuff into it?

If it Look's as Good in Person as it does in the Pic I would Try Selling as is, That is unless you Really Think you might have a Need for The 283 Combo.

A truck Like that would fetch around $ 3000.00 around here..........

Just My Opinion for what it's Worth, Good Luck whichever way u Decide to Go.

Re: Worth doing?

It has good and bad issues. Im afraid 3k is out of the question. Its one of those typical pics that make it look much better than it really is.

Thanks for the input Rick.

Re: Worth doing?

I'd put the chrome rims on it and sell it the way it is for $2200 OBO. Try Craigslist first then ebay if it doesn't sell in a couple weeks. You can always sell the other motor/tranny and lowering stuff to make up the difference.

Re: Worth doing?

67 CST? Buckets still in there? That truck should sell as it sits, how much for it as is. Cb (503)

Re: Worth doing?

CG, I think you should bring it to the Monroe Swapmeet Oct 6th & 7th...we can take bids ...

... then the lucky winner can come to our booths
to get any needed restoration parts ...
