How Rare Is It

I just got a a '67 c10. It's a stepside large rear window, the old man i bought it from told me it was pretty rare. My question is if it is it rare then how rare is it? Or was he just blowing smoke. If you're wondering I only paid $600 for it, no endine or tranny, but the body is great and a brand new interior that's still in the box. So any reply's would be great!

Re: How Rare Is It

That are not super-rare. I have one and know where several others are. I don't know exact numbers, but there were many more 67's built with small windows than the large windows. If its a decent truck, the custom cab is a good option.

Re: How Rare Is It

Longhorn Man could probably give you numbers or at least the % of custom cabs vs std. cabs.

Re: How Rare Is It

Don't know HOW rare, but I have seen them before. I think the option was called Panoramic View or something like that

Re: How Rare Is It

I don't have any numbers here, but the panoramic window was a low production number option. As far as being a stepside, IIRC, more steps were sold than fleets in 67, esp on the stripped down trucks.

Re: How Rare Is It

Check the VIN and glovebox door to see if the cab is in fact a '67. If it really is, then it was a somewhat "rare" truck. Even though it was a "rare" option on a 67, I wouldn't say it would be worth anymore than a small window cab truck in the same condition.

My pops actaully has a "panaramic view" 67, it's a LWB fleet

Re: How Rare Is It

The Panoramic rear glass isn`t rare,it`s just an option.But...most trucks ordered with this were Fleetsides.A Stepside with the panoramic rear glass would be an exception.I wouldn`t say it would have a greater value, though.Sounds like the new interior is worth what the truck cost.
