What year is it most likely??

my buddy has a shortbed truck titled as a 69 but the bed has no side marker lights so I'm assuming its from a 67. The cab has a foot E. brake and the rightwing window latches for a 69. Also I noticed the frame is alittle different at the front because his headers didnt fit in as easy as my 71. Also his drive shaft almost seems solid steel only like 2 inches thick?? I was trying to figure out what year it was mostly, since it seems it was pieced together. Anyone have any Ideas? thanks.

Re: What year is it most likely??

well, the foot E-brake started in 69... does it have a vent in the drivers side door jamb?
does the VIN on the frame match the VIN in the door?
Heck, does the VIN in the door match the title?

What fits in a man's hand better; a sawzall or a beercan?

THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH!!!!

If it is not factory paint - the side markers could have been filled in -- NBD

Re: What year is it most likely??

Sounds like a simple case of filled marker lights on a`69 to me.Or,a swapped bed if not filled markers.
