now does this require removing one of teh factory AC hoses to the center vent? I thought a few years ago one of them did?

I just installed my set of these as well. My bracket had the plastic slides, so I did not even need to trim it. I got mine from Athey's trucks in Jan. 05 (said the invoice). Took my time installing it
