NC vacation lodging suggestions near Biltmore
I’m posting this here due to the most activity but it might need to be moved. The family is planning a weekend near Biltmore Estate / Maggie Valley (?) area, for sometime in October.
My father in-law recalls an area with cabins lining both side of the highway somewhere in that area but he can’t remember the highway names. Another couple will be joining us from Tenn. so there will be 3 couples in all. Does anyone have any info related to some nicer rentals in the area that aren’t too far away from all the activities? We’ve been doing some searches online but I thought I’d see if anyone here might be able to provide any insight. Thanks. PS - It'd be really cool if there were any major 67-72 truck places near there that I could suggest we all visit... (none of them are into it like I am - maybe I can covert them.... hahahah) Thanks again!

Wheels through time is located in Maggie, as well as some cabins etc. From Maggie you will be about 20 minutes from Biltmore House. There is not a lot to choose from in regards to trucks around here but you should take a trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway and to the Great Smokies Park over the hill in Cherokee- they also have a Harrahs Casino if you are interested-
