I'm looking for a carb in good shape (that won't break my bank account) for my '81 305. The original carb warped on me and the only one around here was off an ElCamino, so none of the emissions crap hooks up right.

I could probably rebuild this one, but I've never had any luck going that route. I know this one's FUBAR because the choke won't set by itself, and when it's warmed up it'll smoke black if I get into it. Plus the secondaries are VERY slow to open. Also my wife's Neon with a skipped tooth on the timing belt and 120,000 miles on it will leave me in the dust in a drag race. Just doesn't seem right for a V-8 to be stomped by 2L 4 banger!!

So, anyone got a carb taking up shelf space?

I have a 650 Edelbrock Spread Bore carb for sale, not sure if it's what your looking for or if it will even work, just thought I'd throw it out there.

I have a holley 650 spread bore quad replacement if you are interested. I bought it to put on my truck when i swaped the v-6 out, but I got a smokin deal on a new quadrajet. I will take 150.00 plus ship. if intrested pm me. good luck.
