thinking of selling my truck

truck still needs some work

i put all new disc brakes around the truck also power brakes also put in a 7004 and changed the steering to tilt it has a great running 350 that puffs a bit of smoke when you first start it but goes away

after market air from old air products new 20 inch wheels/tires headers with 3 inch out the back plus flowmasters

it needed some body work and not that it needed ( sure all can be fixed) but i was going to put on different fenders/doors and a box or box sides but my boy needed a car to drive while his new one was on order so i just did a quick sand job and painted it

put on all new clear lights the interrior is pretty much stock and in good shape with a new dash pad and seat cover i will get some pics of the inside and under the hood

im thinking i might as like 5k for the truck what do u guys think do u think it is to much to ask for this truck

I don't think you'll have a problem getting 5 grand if it looks as good in person and underneath.

Re: thinking of selling my truck

If it were me and its not getting any play at 5k, and thats what you really want out of it, I would spend a weekend or so detailing the heck out of it. Power wash the underside. Really clean up the interior. Maybe a new seatcover...they are cheap. Put a new bumper on the front..etc etc...Its amazing how much return you will get with very little extra money put in, and some elbow grease.

But heck...hopefully the first guy that looks at it will pony up the asking price.

Re: thinking of selling my truck

Yeah I was thinking of around 8-9k. Looks pretty good. Like they said, clean it up, especially the interior, and you should be able to do okay. It looks to be a decent truck

spend a little time and money on the inside (maybe a new seat cover) and ask $8500 or so.

Re: thinking of selling my truck

i agree with the price comments.

However, i've never seen a truck scream "BAG ME!" as much as your truck does....

Re: thinking of selling my truck

Since I'm not looking to buy another, I'd say your price is too low for what you have. Had this been before I bought my truck, I'd be saying "SOLD".

An incomplete project will never return top dollar ----so either handle the deal as is or realize you need to put a little more into it to get the most out of it. Just depends on what you want to do.
