Just bought my 68 a facelift!

I went on LMC and got the headlight bezels with chrome hardware, grill surrounds with clips, a red bow tie and a new front bumper with fogs. The PO painted over everything solid black. I myself like the black on chrome style. I had to tell someone cause I can't wait to get it installed next weekend if it all comes in......Mikey

Re: Just bought my 68 a facelift!

Thanks! Right now I'm trying to figure out what shocks and relocators I need for a 3-4 drop. I got new springs with the 68 when I got it but no shocks.....Mikey

Re: Just bought my 68 a facelift!

I came home from work today and there were 2 packages from LMC on the back patio. I opened them up and everything looks to be of good quality. The only thing that sucks is that I have to wait until Saturday to install it all due to not having any time to do it until then. Oh well. Does anyone have any tips to install these parts. I read a day or 2 ago to take the bumper off with the brackets attached to get to the upper bolt on the bumper itself, anything else? Thanks....Mikey

Re: Just bought my 68 a facelift!

I got everything but the bumper installed today. All I gotta say is "What a difference!" It's lookin' pretty sharp. My buddy is coming over tomorrow to help me with the bumper so I can get it aligned. I'll post a pic of the upgrade after I get it all on there and washed up....Mikey

Re: Just bought my 68 a facelift!

How much were the parts? I spent 447 to brighten it up. I'm about to go out and start on the bumper here in a few minutes...Mikey
