Stock fuel tank

How many gallons does the stock (behind the seat) tank hold. My tank is for sale on craigslist, & and someone wants to know the size. It's a 72 K10.

Thanks, Jimi

Re: Stock fuel tank

I think that it holds like 20 gallons, that is a strange question to get asked on craigslist. What is the guy gonna use the tank for? Did he say?

Re: Stock fuel tank

This is usually how it goes with a craigslist add. The add clearly states that it is out of a 72 Chevy truck, & it fits behind the seat. The guy has an 86 Suburban, & asks all these questions that are answered in the two sentance add.
