piston ring question
I bought a set of power seal piston rings and the box didnt have the instructions in them ... one set of piston rings are different .. one has a light blue mark and the other has a dark blue mark .. if anyone know which one goes first that would be awsome seeing as though i am building my motor tonight

Re: piston ring question
Did you get the number off the box? I've never used them, but I got this from a website-
PBM Power Seal top rings is a plasma moly ductile iron with a barrel face configuration. The second ring is nodular iron reverse twist. http://store.racerspartswarehouse.com/sbc4pbposepe.html

Re: piston ring question
I'm glad it worked out. How's the build going?
I might recommend that this post gets moved to the engine section if you plan to continue. (You can too, with a PM to an Admin.) You'll get gear-heads from all years there. Windsor, Ontario or Pennsylvania?
