Do a search for member Mike Nutt and his build thread. He used a glass hood on his truck, and it looks awesome!

Re: Who in here runs a fiberglass hood?
I will never buy another one after the one on my truck warped and looks like sh!t now. Metals the only way to go for a none racer.
Just my 2 cents. Well i should add that my hood never warped tell i pulled my 30 foot camper a 1000 miles i guess the heat was to much. Ed Last edited by CrashEd; 09-20-2007 at 11:34 PM. Reason: add some |

Re: Who in here runs a fiberglass hood?
Id love to slap some fiberglass pannels and a hood up front for weight...
Anyone know how much lighter the fiberglass would be over the steel pannels?

Street weight glass is still heavy! The race weight stuff I run is light. But the company went out of business!

Re: Who in here runs a fiberglass hood?
Half of knowing how good they are does sometimes depend on where you get it. There is a HUGE difference in quality between certain brands. Ive had good ones & some real crap...
