Re: subs in our trucks?

Haven't done mine yet, but since I no longer have a gas tank inside the cab, there is plenty of room behind the seats. I've also seen subs under a bench seat (lose the ability to move it back and forth) and custom consoles built between bucket seats that housed a sub or two.

Re: subs in our trucks?

With the gas tank moved to underneath the bed, I have a 10" subwoofer behind my bucket seats in a sealed box I made. My Rockford Fosgate 'P1' sub is 5 1/2" deep. You can get shallow mount subs specifically for trucks. This winter I'll be building my own fiberglass center console, which will house my sub between the seats. It's do-able, lots of guys on here have subs in their trucks.

10" Phoenix Gold in a small box it's between the two front bucket seats. Plenty of amp is behind passenger seat. Infinity Kappa 6.5" and 1" tweets in front in custom made pods, and Infinity Kappa in the rear corners also in custom made pods.

I get a sub for lunch every now and again. I keep it on the seat next to me so it doesn't roll away. When I get back to home or work I take the sub out of the truck or it will go bad.

*I couldn't resist

If you have removed your fuel tank, there's lots of room behind the seat.
