It doesnt matter what color I paint them they all end up the color of mud before long any way.

Yep, I agree... at least on mine.

But here's my .02 anyway.

If you intend to leave it at stock height and want it to be "showy", then I can see painting it other than black. People behind you will be able to see the undercarriage. But, if you're going to drop it, then it's a moot point. You'll have to get on your knees to see what color is down there...

I'm more interested in protection and to me black looks good.
