Started to sell but changed my mind!

Cost me $50.00 for listing it on EBAY but after having several people interested in it, I thought about it for a few days then cancelled my listing. Went and put my bed together and set it on the truck, so I could see what it looked like, it has been over a year since it has been all together and it made me motivated to spend more $ and finish it! Anyway this is what it looks like so far.

i'm not usually a fan of long step-sides, but it looks good on that 4x4 off the ground. keep up the good work.

Hey RShaips...
You show the signs of wisdom!! I had my 70cst up for sale but like you I put a stop to it as I could never pull the trigger. Someday my son (70cstjr) will get possession of my truck. But not until I am in the wheel chair!!
Glad to see you kept your truck. You will be glad also.!!

Re: Started to sell but changed my mind!

If you decide to sell it again please let me know. I'm interested in building another and have one torn down and could use it for parts. Randy

Re: Started to sell but changed my mind!

Hey 70 Step nice truck! When you put your bed together did you have any cross sills in the middle area between the fenders? Been a while since I took it apart! I am not going to put in wood, I have a piece of aluminum diamond plate already cut to fit, I am also going to have my gas tank filler in the floor. Thanks

Great save! You would have regretted seeing it drive away!

Can't wait to see the finished product.

Re: Started to sell but changed my mind!

Keep it,they`re cool and not all over the place. While I had three K/20s I wanted to break it up and do a long stepper. That truck got sold, but I still have the bed.I may still put it on the one I keep. They look great on a lifted suspension w/big ol`tires.I real "utility" look like a Power Wagon or old Napcos & Marmon Herringtons.

Re: Started to sell but changed my mind!

I think I've put mine up for sale three times since I started rebuilding her the second time. I seem to get really motivated after listing it, kind of like sellers remorse before I have even had any calls!

My wife said when I lose my motivation to work on it, I just need to list it again!

Re: Started to sell but changed my mind!

Well about 2 years ago I sold a 67 SB 2WD truck that I built and used the money for the concrete retaining wall and floor for my new shed. It was a very nice truck 383 stroker, 700R tranny, but I have always been into 4WD trucks so I bought this one for a $1,000 almost right after I sold the other one. Now I have almost as much money in this one as the last one, and its not finished! The fun is in building them anyway!
