How does cargo light attach?

On my 72 GMC, most of the removable parts were in the bed when I bought it. I cant figure out how the cargo light mounts at the top/back/outside of the cab. Were cage nuts used on the body? It does not appear that I can reach the backs of the bolts by going in through the cab because the interior light is in the way.

Go ahead and pull the interior light and see if that helps you out any. It seems like mine was held on with two machine type screws. I remember it was a booger to mess with. I want to say I had to have someone on the inside keeping the nuts from turning while I backed out the screws. Of course I've slept since then and I could be way off base. Either way TTT for ya!

Cargo light,
Take inside light out and you can reach through the slider and install cargo light. The black rubber boot is screwed into the body then the lens is just screwed into it like a side marker light. Wire both lights back up and install inner light. Done.
Rear sliding window is good for something.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yeah, it seems like the rubber well nuts were shot on mine. That's why I had nuts on the inside of the cab. I guess having a rear slider would have made the job a lot easier as well.
