What did you get done this weekend?

So what did you get done this weekend? I managed to get the new fender installed and sorta lined up as well as attempted to time the engine. Think I have the wrong balancer.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?

Not much. Worked for a little bit on cleaning up the motor going in my '67. My son was home from college this weekend so that was my main focus.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?

Put in a new steering wheel in the 67 on Saturday(sorry no pics)... today swapping the 4/6 drop from my 72 to 67. Got the back done but I'm hung up on removing the lower A arms (they lower the truck 2 inches).... everything off but they won't drop out when I removed the ball joint nut (?, one with the cotter pin).

Used the search and asked in the "suspension section" ..Any suggestions would be helpful...

Re: What did you get done this weekend?

I installed a license plate light and got my dash and heater control lights working.

I'm so proud.

Now if I could get my reverse lights to work.......

Oh, and I hauled some firewood to the mountains.

Fun stuff. And a cheap excuse to post another picture.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?

Well Lemon Drop has been on hold since we moved into our new home. The new home was built in 1965, and in the past 42 years no one has done anything to update the garage. I have one outlet and one single bulb light.

So I have been trying to set up outlets and prep it for a much need update. All while working around Lemon Drop and many boxes of unpacked tools.

I will be off two weeks before halloween and hope to have it ready for the electrician.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?

Cheapy duplicolor spray in bed liner. I filled in the big dings and it actually hides the small ones really well. You can see the spray lines but it looks better than before.... What's funny is there were no spray lines when I did the first coat, but they showed up in the second They'll go away after the sun fades it some...

Drove it about 100 miles. 'bout it.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?

Finished up some unpainted areas on my cab to complete my rattle can paint job. Sprayed the transmission with oven cleaner and took it to the car wash to pressure wash it. Got the motor assembly going.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?

I have been doing a serpatine swap, which then turned into a timing chain replace, 4bbl intake install along with a eldbrock 600 and petronix in the distribitor. This weekend I got the belt put on a installed my radiator. I have to run my new gas line and buy a new pressure power steering hose, and it should be running
