1969 Longhorn cst/30 What are they worth
Just wondering if anyone knows what price a nice original condition 1969 cst/30 longhorn would go for with 62,000 miles

Re: 1969 Longhorn cst/30 What are they worth
Still a broad question to answer.No rust right?A camper survivor?I`d say with decent body/paint andbeing a CST it could be worth 5-ish.Is it a 396,have a/c,what options?Could be closer to $7,000.If unrusty,at least $3,500.That`s the range,I guess,IMO...$3,500-7,000.
If it`s downright gorgeous and origninal you could see nearly double those numbers.

Re: 1969 Longhorn cst/30 What are they worth
Thanks for the reply guys! It is a truck I'm looking to buy. It is a one owner, rust free that I can tell, all original with the 350 and from the pics it looks like there is an air conditioner from the pics of the motor. It has 62,000 original miles and the wood bed looks in great shape. Original white rims, manual trans, and has some brackets on the bedsides....assuming for the camper option. It has been garage kept and interior looks new. Any other comments would help. I think the only thing wrong I can tell from the pics is a dent above the rear window.

Re: 1969 Longhorn cst/30 What are they worth
Is there an asking price or are you just being offered the truck and need to establish a fair offer? Can you post the pictures you have? There`s factory a/c and add-on.The factory compressor lays long ontop of right valve cover.Aftermarket would have an upright looking compressor. Both a/c,but factory helps value more. What color? If it`s garage kept and pretty nice all over I`d say around $3,500-$5,000.It would be more with an automatic.I like 4spd,but it`s just a heavy old truck with some trim to some that way.It sounds nice to me.

Re: 1969 Longhorn cst/30 What are they worth
From the description it sounds exactly like one that will be auctioned off tomorrow at an estate auction. The truck looks very nice and might go cheap as some things do at estate auctions. Then again, it might not if a few folks show up just to bid on it.
HERE are some photos of the truck that I am speaking of. Happy bidding!! |

Re: 1969 Longhorn cst/30 What are they worth
WOW...I have been looking for an CST C30 Longhorn with factory AC, wood bed, & 4-speed for five years. I'm going to bid at least $15,000 no $20,000 !!! Just kidding. I hope it gets a good owner who will take good care of her. Looks like a good truck. Good Luck on the bidding!!

Re: 1969 Longhorn cst/30 What are they worth
If theres several bidders and serious I'd say that truck wiil go above 5K. But if not you might get a deal. Play by ear and see what happens.

Sorry guys, I was unable to attend the auction. Maybe the other guy made it. I did however try and call the auctioneer but there was no answer.
