Zz4 Is Running!!!
I just about jumped out of the seat. The ZZ4 cranked up on the 2nd crank!!
Sitting in the seat feels like sitting in drag car! It shakes, rumbles, rough idle and smokey!!! The plugs burned up the oil used to turn the motor over. The ZZ4 cranks up quickly and scrippy!! Video coming soon!! I need someone to hold the camera!! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED ME THROUGH THIS PROJECT!! You can't believe the smile on my face to hear the ZZ4 run. I had neighbors come out and look!! A little tidy work to check for leaks, loose bolts, tie wrap some wiring and electric fan check are needed. I can't wait to put my foot in it!! |

Re: Zz4 Is Running!!!
I need to work on cleaning up a few items. The next step is fix the alternator. Right now the ZZ4 will is running off battery power. The serpentine belt system has a CS130. I plan to use an LED light to tell me when it's charging.

[QUOTE=87 STEPPER;2384769]So does this mean your not MR. 305 Any more [QUOTE]
Officially yes. However until someone else can get a 305 into the 16's-15's I can honorarly hold the title to the badest stock 305. The little 305 could spank a stock 350 like spanking the neighbors milk man's kid.... Now much can I get out of the ZZ4? I don't know but you know I'm going to try. I have a 750 carb ready to bolt on. The 650 is probably enough, but the RPM Air gap intake should handle it. I know the tires won't. |

Re: Zz4 Is Running!!!
I have no idea what "scrippy" means, but I know you've been working on getting this in and going for awhile now. Congratulations!
On a side note, your geocities site was one of the first few I found when I got my truck like 6 years ago. I've read it front to back a few times, pausing for a day to let you come back down within the bandwidth limit. I'm glad you put up that site, dude. It's been very motivational over the years.

Re: Zz4 Is Running!!!
Thanks fellas. I want to host an Austin gathering once it's road worthy again. The ZZ4 starts easier than my FI Jimmy. The ZZ4 starts with the slightest starter bump. I'm still working on the videos. I need to fix the oil pressure and tach guages. The digital gauges are not working. I need them to work before the ZZ4 can run for more than a few minutes.
