Found a Blazer for sale, NC
FYI, i posted this on the 67-72 truck side, thought i'd share here too.
Thought I'd share that I found a 69-70ish Blazer for sale on the side of the road in north Chatham Country, NC (west of Raleigh). It was on highway 751 near Jordan Lake. I didn't have a chance to stop and look at it (or take pics) since I was on the little one's nap drive. It looked decently clean and straight passing by at 55. Maybe someone else will be interested. (mods: sorry if this is double posting)

Re: Found a Blazer for sale, NC
I finally drove by and found that thing yesterday afternoon.
In its current state I would say it is not worth the $3250 they are asking for it, not even close. A lot of the normal rust spots are starting to bubble out, looks like some of it was fixed some years ago and the repaint is an aquamarine color. Looks like a 6" lift with some decent swampers, extended driveshafts (saw a local shop's sticker on them). It's a no-option '69, i.e. manual steering, 3-speed. I didn't pop the hood to see what engine it had, after seeing it sitting outside without a top on I was pretty much disinterested in it. The seats have been swapped out (no back seat) and the floor hump was cut out for a 3-speed floor shifter (but the stock shifter was still on the column). I have a picture on my phone, will post it later when I have time to download it. The seller thinks it is "rare" because of the year, says so on the for sale sign. I say the price is at least double what it is worth, so it is going to sit there for a long time.
