I wouldn't go with the brackets you have pictured. If you ever are in an accident, God forbid, the seats need the backing of the floorboards and the mounting/backing plates that are part of them. Sounds like you could do a lot better on price for the cutouts though, thats mighty steep. I know a couple of guys on here have already mod and posted the pics. I'll look and see if I can find a link.

Those brackets pictured are for the seats we have and mount to the section of flooring he purchased. The picture is of the factory floor with the factory brackets installed in a Tahoe. These seats we are referring to using are from an 00-07 model year. Are the ones you are talking about other guys modding and posting pics from a prior year? If they are from the ones like we have, I would love to see the pics because I think we are all looking forward to seeing some pics of this done and installed. ![]() |
