Bench Seats? What fits?

In my '64, someone installed some pretty comfortable bucket seats, but I'd like to have a nice bench seat, that I could re-cover in a nice red/white to match. Does anyone know what other benches would work/fit?

thx!!

Re: Bench Seats? What fits?

A buddy of mine had a mid 90's Chevy truck 40/60 bench in the 64' he had. He tried to get me to buy one for mine this past weekend at the swap meet for mine. He said the seat will fit with little to no modifications.

mine has a mid to late '80's seat and there were no changes needed to fit it in.

Re: Bench Seats? What fits?

Does anyone know how a 40/20/40 bench from a 99-up Chevy pickup will fit? It looks like an easy swap, but looks are deceiving. I want this seat due to the integrated shoulder belts.

Yeah, they will fit. Check out that thread for some suggested modifications. I want the same seats, but havent been able to find them reasonably priced since I missed out on those I posted.

Re: Bench Seats? What fits?

I found a pair for $150 near me, but the driver's side has a tear in the fabric. I will likely re-upholster them anyway. I didn't want to spend the money until I checked the measurements. Thanks for the info!
