Battery terminal on starter...

Well, my positive cable keeps coming loose. Is there a trick to keep the nuts from moving or am I sol? Maybe just

old school trick i learned a long time ago

look at the picture for reference:

look at the hole that lets it slide over the terminal. at the top of it, there is a gap between the screw body and the clamp. tighten the set screw of the battery all the way down then get another SHORT screw and screw it into that gap where the red dot is below - it will help tighten the terminal to it and reduce space between. like this (WARNING! do NOT use a long screw or you will pierce the battery casing):

oh damn. you're talking about on the starter.

yeah, lock washer. you can get an assorted box from the hardware store for less than a few bucks.
