Best shocks for 200 or less?
What do you think? The best shocks for a 70 blazer with a 2.5 inch lift for street driving? I have skyjacker 8000's now could I see an improvement?

I had Rancho 9000's and went with Procomps with my new lift. No comparison at all. The Ranchos are the better ride.

Thanks. I'll look them up. How do rancho 5000's compare? The price is a lot better.

Probably not what I want then. I'm just trying to talk myself into spending 400 dollars. I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to me or not. Are they that much better?

IMO if you are going to drive on the highway a lot it is worth it. If you are gonna offroad this thing then the 5000's would probably do ya. I'm sure some others will chime in here.

Alright, I'm sold. What about a steering stabilizer and steering box?

Re: Best shocks for 200 or less?
I got a real good ride from Hecko hydraulic shocks through Superlift.Nitrogen shocks ride stiff and their benefit is alot less fade/cavitation from repeated bumps like washboard. This is only experienced in off road racing.Nitro shocks are just not what we need.I love the 9000RSXs.They`re nitro, but with real light valving adjustment.
