76 chevy 4x4 disk brakes - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

ok I'm new to this and have a 2 part question.

first, I have a set of 6 lug front disk brake spindels, they came off a 76 4x4. Can I use the Spindels and backing plates for and non-4x4 68 C10?

Second, I also have a 61 suburban and I currently have spindles for disk brakes for the truck, Can I use the disks off the 76 to on the 61?

I know that I probally haven't provided enough information so ask the information that you need. Thanks for the help.
