sb 350

any one have pic on how to take a sb 350 apart i hve to get the heat done over

Spend $20 - $25 on a re-build manual at your local bookstore-- there are a lot of good ones , or maybe the library has one to check out

Look for the right books in the Overhaul Tools thread in my signature...that's the right place to start.

A factory service manual is always a good buy, as are the aftermarket (Hayes, etc.)

the head? you gotta do both, and you dont have to take the whole engine apart...just the top half.

cause tis easier to just lift the crank out then push pistons out - of course that crank got junked, wouldn't do it with a crank that I plan on reusing

the number one rocker is lose an more rocker are lose the timing is off it is missing so i like to redo the head over

The rockers being loose has nothing to do with the head unless some studs have pulled out. You can check this by pulling the rockers and putting a straight edge across the top of the studs. It's possible to remove a pulled stud and install a threaded stud in the car if you're careful...not a great choice, and not something I'd do for more than one or two studs - but possible. I would definitely adjust the valves before we start thinking about pulling the heads.

If the timing is off, set the timing

If it's got a bad miss and ticking, it may be that the cam has wiped a lobe or two - again, that's not a problem with the heads.

You need to do a bit more diagnosis before making a decision on the repair.

No problems with the wrist pins, there was very little oil pressure at start up and it when hot it was all done by 2k. Also had bad leaks at the intake, and was mixing coolant with oil (which probably wiped the bearings to begin with). A new crank, cam, and new bearings fixed it nicely, also threw in a high-volume oil pump and re-ringed it. While it was apart I also ported the heads, granted they're 882 heads so nothing to write home about, but it was a good learning experience.
