Re: Lookin' for 11-second times from a K10, what's it take???

In the K5 I scratch the tires hard going from 2nd to third and it has 35 inch boggers so it is definitely possible to speed shift it. But also it is down now due to twisted axle tubes.

Re: Lookin' for 11-second times from a K10, what's it take???

No way he can run 11's and all he has to do is miss one shift, which will happen if he tries to speed shift that granny box. Just make sure the car is in front of him so when parts start flying, they don't go through the windshield.

Re: Lookin' for 11-second times from a K10, what's it take???

I've seen a toyota landcruiser do 11's at Firebird raceway in Phoenix. It was called Toyotally Awsome, and it pulled the front tires on a launch. It could've happened but they whole story sounded cheesy!! I'd like to see what happened (if it DID happen?)

Not saying it "couldn`t" happen.Just saying it "wasn`t going to" happen on this occasion.

Re: Lookin' for 11-second times from a K10, what's it take???

This thread is 6 months old and we are only agreeing with this guy that this barstool jockey is blowin`smoke or inhaling too much and actually believes he can jump out there and roll out 11s.If it was me,I would have claimed a higher time to get people to put more money on my side of the bet.
