I am pulling a 76 305 out of my 69 c10. where are the motor mount bolts located? I can see where the bolts attach the rubber mount to the block, but I can't find the bolts that attach the frame to the motor.

Look under the frame piece in the center and take a 5/8'' socket with you

I thought it was probally under there somewhere. thanks......when purchasing new mounts for my new motor do I use the year of the truck or the new motor? I plan on installing a 350. Sorry about the stupid questons, but pulling motors is all new to me.....thanks again rick

use the year of your truck.
mount should be the same 67-72.

Or, you can fork out a little money and go this route like I did. Makes it a whole lot easier.

Also check the threads to make sure they are 7/16-20. I got a MM from O'reilys that was METRIC!

Then they wanted to sell me a bolt to make it work.
