Problem finding the right parts
Hey everyone, new to all of this. I recently got a hold of a 72' Blazer and I didn't realize it at the time but the header (the sheet metal above the windshield) is all rusted out. With all the web sites out there like LMCtrucks and others I didn't think it would be a hard piece to find but I haven't found a web site yet the sells that part. Does anyone know where I can find a new header?

I have the same problem. Any chance someone from the board has already done this and posted a thread with pics? I checked the Index section a while ago and didn't find anything, but maybe I missed it.

 from the middle of the state.There are several people on the board that have done this and I for one have to do it yet. I'm sure by this time tomorrow, you will have many responses in regards to replacing the w/s frame. I may even have an extra one in a few weeks that will work...not sure at this point. You may even be able to check out some pics if you click on some of the links in VTBlazer's signature above.

Don't I recall that Wes or one of the other vendors is in the process of having the windshield frame reproduced? I wonder what the status of this is?

VT,did you just butt weld the posts or did you reinforce the inner panel also?
