what headers to use for BBC ?

i need as many opinoins on this as possible. I put a big block (454) in my 82 1/2 ton 2wd and i need a different set of header that dont rub on the frame. But I want to have good ground clearance in the front. I am running a 5 - 7 drop and dont want any problems with draging on the ground or speed bumps. Please help me find the right headers im running short on time with this project.
Thanks for all your help, Ryan

Thanks AirMale. Do you have good ground clearance on the bottom? i dont want the bottom of the colectors any lower than the bottom of the frame. Do you have a picture of your truck from the bottom?

I believe I have part number 69820. But check the footnotes on the Hedman site to confirm that's right for your application.

Ground clearance looked okay when I had them on the '77 long bed, but I never got to actually drive the truck. I can't say they didn't drop below the frame... I think they would have to to get under the transmission crossmember. The headers will be going onto the '86 short bed as soon as I get the engine swapped in. I will make sure to get some pics then.
