Check this Blazer out! The owner used the Blazer to pull his boat trailer yesterday, (1-1-03) and was fishing in the Whitelake area in West Michigan. There was no snow or salt on the roads and it was pretty cool to see his beautiful Blazer parked in the parking lot by the boat ramp.

The Blazer has been nicely repainted and it has original looking tow hooks on the front. The pic does not show them, unfortunately.

Cool old Blazer. It's at times like that we need a www.67-72chevytrucks.com card to leave on a windshield.

Fishing in January in a boat? In Michigan?

Wow, that's a pretty Blazer! Doesn't somebody have cards? That's a good idea.

I haven't seen open water for a month. My boats are all over in da-burb's barn. My ice fishing shelter is in my burb.

Tom,

Fishing in Michigan on January the 1st is very unusual. Even the small inland lakes have only thin ice on them and where he put his boat in there are fairly strong currents from the river that feeds the lake. There is an awful lot of open water on the lake
that the river feeds, so getting around in a boat is no problem.

Most of the time the water is frozen at this time of the year with about 5-6" of ice. Only ice fishing happens when the ice is that thick.

Good idea on the cards!

Are there any creative printers in the group?
