smooth cowl?
I was wondering do any stores sell smoothed out cowls?
I am not using the fresh air ducks and was wanting to get rid of the louvers on the cowl.

Re: smooth cowl?
has anybody actually used the one from No Limit? i called them and they say it is completely smooth with no provision for the wipers.
i want to smooth the louver area but keep my wipers. mainly want to get rid of that big ole water cistern that has rusted all my side panels (currently working on them also) i have a 57. first i tried carefully cutting out the louver section and welding in a solid piece into the cover. warped about 1/16 or so away from the windshield - just enough to leak good. now i am just fabbing up a new panel to weld in place. i cut the wiper sections off each end of the old louvered panel and am mating them to the new center piece i am making. ton of trouble! maybe someday i can get the pics to load so i can show my mistakes, er, my work. |
