Re: 4 link

i wouldn't go with a 4-link, i'd go with a 4-bar. 4 link installation is more configurable, but 4-bar is perfect for what you seem to be looking for.

No limit engineering http://www.nolimit.net/prodinfo.asp?number=FTBR%2DBC I have used these many times. You do not want a paralel 4-bar they do not transfer power! I have the fat bar on my truck runs 11.60s with a 1.58 60 foot.

Re: 4 link

4-bar is way easier to install and adjust.

more reading info is here:
http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=7466

if you need pictures, this is a 4-bar :

here is a 4-link:

http://www.checkeredracing.com/files.../4LinkKitL.JPG

welding on the 4-bar is easier, welding on the 4-link is tougher, but you get more adjustability. something to note about the 4-bar kit, i believe most of them come with adjustable rods/bars - the end links can be spun in and out to adjust the rear-end.

find some more reading specific to our trucks at this thread on the forum:

i have an episode of Horsepower TV or some other hotrod show on my Tivo right now that does a superb job of showing the difference between both (and a third chassis) from roughly two weeks ago - and it repeated this last weekend. i'll try to find it, but not sure what i can do with it once i pull it off i tried to pull something else for a board member recently and it was a nightmare
