Question Fuel Sending Unit - 1969 C10

What is the correct Chevrolet part number for a fuel sending unit for a 1969 Chevrolet C10 (Vehicle Identification Number: CE149A861716) HELP!
I just ordered a unit from a major supplier of GMC and Chevrolet parts. The unit sent is wrong according to my shop as the fitting on the end is larger and the tube seems longer. What is the correct Chevrolet part number for this unit?

I believe there is a difference between a 6 cylinder and a V-8 model, don't know the part numbers.

Mine is a V-8 That is why I offered the Vehicle Identification Number as this defines the engine and truck. Can you give me the actual Chevrolet part number?

Re: Fuel Sending Unit - 1969 C10

I just purchased a sending unit for my 69 last week. It was then I learned there is a difference between the 6 cylinder and v8 units. The tubes are smaller for the 6 cylinder. The 69 will not have a return line and uses a vented gas cap. I do not know the part number for you but with this info maybe it will be a bit easier to pick out one from a catalog.
