Pulling cab, country style! Pics Fixed!
Big trucks call for creativeness, i.e. using haybales to get A-frame up high enough to lift cab off frame. I thought about pulling the wheels but I was going to have to be able to push the frame out from under the A-frame and thought it would be easier to just leave the wheels on.
I will try to attach the photos in a response below.

Figured life would be alot easier getting everything lined up and bolted back together with the cab off. There's also a little rust that I'm gonna get welded up while the cab's off. What fun!

Koooool!!! Bolt the motor in, a seat and some lights and you're good to go. looks like fun. So does that mean you're finally getting the 454 in the beast??

Soon, I'm waiting on a coupler shaft that goes inside of the adapter between the Rockwell transfer case and the SM465 tranny - a couple board members may have that part but they haven't been able to pull the part yet to see if they are in good shape - if anyone has that part - please let me know. The 454 just needs have the rear main seal replaced and buttoned up and it's good to go. I'm pretty excited!

good idea!!! that awfully close to my country style, when we took mine off we hooked a come along to the tere-poles in the tobacco barn and cranked it up, then pulled the frame out with my dads truck and then sit the cab down on the ground, hooked up the tractor to our strap and picked it up and moved it outside the barn

I had to buy 2 cases of beer for friends to get my cab off the 77. That looks like a nice big shop you have there. I have to contend with my lean to a tarp and a propane heater
