Re: found some more pics!

I spent 4 years of my life, 3 or 4 girlfriends and a pretty good chunk of change... Maybe 20 grand and I did all the work myself except actually spraying the paint.. Then I built my 66 Nova and then decided to get engaged... Now I am building the 67 shop truck... We will see how paitent my girl is now!!

Re: found some more pics!

Yep they are 6 lug.. American Racing Torq Thrust St's 18 and 20" I really wish I would have made her a 5 lug but ran in to the not knowing the axles out of a 5 lug 72 were to long until I went to the junkyard and pulled a set... I had to slap it together and move it from where it was sitting asap... So changed the front to 6 lug disc...

Re: found some more pics!

Now that looks saawwweeeet. I have had people tell me to go no chrome on my 67 sw but when you look at this pic with all the chrome it would make them think twice. I have all the chrome but not the chrome around the front of the fenders and front of the hood. I love the look but mine doesn't have it...never did atleast not sense I have owned it

Re: found some more pics!

Thanks... Originally when I started it was going to be all shaved with no chrome... But the more I worked on it I wanted it to really pop and shine... I am glad I did the chrome.... Now building the 67 shop truck I am struggling with cutting corners/cost and building a cool everyday driver... I am having fun making it a little different than all the others though.... I want an old school look and feel with lots of old school parts.. (except the airride) I have mostly all the parts I need to get rolling on it.. So far I have put about 10 hours just in the dash installing a 57 chevy truck cluster! It is fun not having to make it perfect... At least thats what I keep telling myself... I can do this cheap and fun!
